Default Stalling when coasting

Having stalling issues. Car is a 03 350z 6 speed manual. No engine mods besides a intake. Runs great and shifts great but when I'm above 3200-3500 rpm's and I push the clutch in to coast the car will die silently. It starts back up instantly and I can continue driving at whatever speed I just lost my power steering at (gets scary) I've yet to find someone who actually fixed the problem. The only codes I have are for the knock sensor (gonna fix the common wiring issue) and I also have a VERY slight misfire during idle but it revs perfectly fine and no misfire while driving and I've also done a pedal dance reset. Here recently I started hearing a high pitched quiet tone coming from under the hood that kinda increases with rpm (doesn't sound like belt squeak). Any help is appreciated!

TB relearn will help, but it’s a common issue with an intake

The easiest answer is just don't coast the car. There is really no reason to be coasting. Do you by any chance have a JWT intake?

Wow, I am a new owner and this is my first MT car. I thought that coasting was good and until you said something I never thought to look at why it would be a bad thing. Thanks for the insight

Also to the OP, I bought a cheap short ram intake off eBay which was having problems staying attached. I would tighten the clamps over and over and it just kept falling off. The car has a sensor for the air and when it doesnt read properly, it shuts off the car. (I plugged in the sensor the opposite direction the first time and was freaking out when my car wasn't turning on.) I ended up buying an injen cold air intake and it attached very well and I no longer have this problem
