Default Issues with drivers side window switch *NOT* the window motor!

Hello everybody,

I just got a 2005 350Z, the guy told me that the window sometimes won’t work. After 3 days the drivers side window stopped working at all. I order a new switch to solve the problem. The window was working but again, after 1 week it died again. I am not sure if it’s a wiring issue, a breakers problem or it was just a coincidence. Before I choose to buy another switch ($30-50), I’d like to see if anybody had the same issue which my save me from this trouble.
Thanks

Rarely the switch, usually the motor. Known fail point on Z cars.

Hold the switch in the up position and beat the arm rest like a rented mule. If the window rolls up, it's the motor.
