Default Hello from Catalunya

Hi all!
I'm Joan, from Barcelona (Catalonia; Spain) and since 2018 i'm owner of a 2003 350Z.
I made it some minor upgrades like Oil Cooler, Brake and Clutch braided lines and something more.
I use my Z mostly at weekends to travel and make routes with him and when I can, i put some laps in the local tracks around Barcelona.

Here som pictures about him.

Nurburgring 2019

Night Run

Castellolí 2021
I have registrered in this forum because there is a lot of information and if there is some question to do, make it.

Thanks!

Ahh, one of my favorite areas of the world! Visited Spain a few years back and loved everywhere we went. We missed the Spanish Grand Prix by a couple of months (where Max got his first ever F1 win). Now hearing there's a movement to move the GP from Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya to the streets of Madrid in the turnabout year, 2026. Uggggh. Moving and creating new street races. Bleah. But I digress.... Welcome aboard.

Thanks MicVelo!
Yeah! About the new grand prix, we hope that it will switch the location; one year at Barcelona and one year at Madrid 🤞

Thanks! Yes. In Spain only there was a trim called "Pack" which is pretty similar with yours "Track" trim. Ray's rims, brembos caliper's, heated and leather seats, Bose radio, cruise control and rear mini spoiler...

There are many 350z in Spain. We don't usually import because we have many national units (but few OEM units...).
Some people import from UK because there, 350z are more cheaper than in Spain, but they are RHD and have rust everywhere...

Here they are more expensive than in UK or USA for example...

Mine is national, one driver only before me and full stock

a lot of them here have been trashed for drifting so aside from pristine low mileage models, they aren't worth much today. a beautiful low miles 350Z Grand touring will bring $15,000 USD. The same in track model with the RAYS will get about $18,000 USD. just going off of sales this year that I have noted. If it has under 5K miles, they can bring over $20,000 USD. but that's rare.

Oh, so the prices are quite similar to what we have here! even a little bit expensive than here!

it's about the mileage. typical 80,000 mi 350Z in beautiful condition isn't worth much today. maybe... $6,000? If it's been taken care of. but a lot of them in average condition are only bringing about 4K.

Dunno about that. I sold my '03 Enthusiast with 78k miles, needing some paint work (clear coat fail)..... just under $10k USD. Granted, my suspension was professionally built and tuned and with Volks. Point is, Z33 prices are all over the place. Key is how they've been treated. You have lots of people who do good maintenance and are generally well cared for; then you have the idiots who put on cheap parts, go do stupid stuff with their cars, then put 'em away wet. So many of those out there. Ehh.

Here in spanish, 280cv units are about 12-15k€, 301cv units are at 14-17k€ and 313cv units are 20-23k€. All depending about their conditions... (€/$ the ratio change is 1:1 aprox)
There are usually no units for 3-6k€. If they are there, they are crashed.
