Default Some thoughts on the new ownership

I think it's great that Tako has put a lot of effort into the look of the site and has taken an appreciation to the new Z, but at the same time I'm sure as a very successful business man, his motivation is primarily $$$. Now, it seems that he has disappeared. I think that there is still a lot that can be done to the site in terms of improvements. A FAQ Section. A Problems/Recall/Warranty issue sections. The ability to do a quick reply (where there is a box under the last post of a thread that you can just enter in a response and hit reply, no need for a new page.) Spell Check. Etc. Anyway, it felt like with the old owners issues were responded to and it was a little more hands on. Any other thoughts?

Uhhh, guys. First off, lets not be too sensitive here. Of course the site is free, it's a forum. I don't know of any forums that charge membership dues. Second, I think that without pointing out places that can use improvement, none will be made. Thirdly, to be quite honest, Tako's Clubs, restaurants, magic car polishes and others don't concern me, and if one isn't able to run a forum and make improvements, and deal with the community then they should at the least hire someone who is like a full time manager who has all the abilities that the owner does, or not own it. Like I said, Tako didn't buy the forum out of the goodness of his heart, or the love of the Z. He obviously likes cars, this is a business deal for him, he is going to make money, or hopes to. And as someone who frequents the website I think I should be able to make critiques without people getting too upset.

hey LA-Z ..... not being harsh, but you're always entitled to start your own Z site and forum. :-)

To each his own. nothings ever perfect.... the instant all the changes you request are initiated more members will still not be happy and request other things.

take it for what it's worth...... overall a pretty good Z site/forum
