I think Mass requires you to put a front license plate on all cars now. Anyone have any suggestions where to put this damn thing before my dealer drills a bunch of holes in the front bumper?

I think there's mounts that you can hook up to the tow hook/loop in the grill.

You can get a aftermarket ski rack and mount your front plate to it above the roof. That way, the car, per sey, remains in its original condition.

In CT it's required. I haven't had a 2nd license plate for the past 5 years and never been pulled over for it. Front license plate on a Z looks like *** no matter where you put it. Be a rebel man!

Hopefully you didn't drill holes in your bumper yet, but here is a license plate bracket so you don't have to drill holes in your bumper known as the ZEE-Bracket.

It's about $40 bucks. Worth it in my opinion. Thank me later.

Agreed, but if a cop starts following you, you could just do a 180 and skedaddle in reverse. He won't know who he's chasing!

Just kidding of course

Don't have mine on.

Have it in the trunk.. there are screw holes actually pre slotted on the front bumper if you really want to do it - personally the amound of cars that DON'T have them in Houston outnumber those that do..

It also seems to be the case that it's anything - not just coupes or sports cars... I saw a mini van without one the other day.

I think I'd have to be REALLY unlucky to be pulled - although as soon as I am I'll probably end up fitting it like a whipped dog...

Thanks guys. Today is the day I get to see it for the first time. They shipped it up from CT, hopefully the CT dealer didnt drill any holes either. I called and told the receptionist if they drilled holes or put some dealership logo on I would be quite displeased. Just have to fight one more battle with the dealer for wanting to charge me $200 to fill up my gas tank or some B/S like that. Can anyone reasure me that all dealers are not snakes, its starting to get rediculous with all of their add ons.

Mine had a plate on it when I took it home. Front plates are required in Colorado. I removed the plate, cursed at the dealer for the drill holes, plugged the holes with some handy and nice-looking bumper plugs. Looks decent -- not like a virgin bumper, but decent.
