Default Nismo Intake? Backordered? priceing? discounts, deals?

First off, I agree with all of you who said that the NISMO should have came with the NISMO intakes. So I think it's about that time I decided to get a pair. Did anyone get theirs for below the NISSAN selling price, esplly you NISMO owners who might have worked a deal with the dealerships. If so what should I expect to wait for a pair and does anyone know of a place to get them for a better price, if there is a thread on this i'm sorry, it's a little late or early in the morning and I just wanted to ask before I called it a night. Thanks guys

Does it have to be nismo? If not, try the AEM dual intakes. From what I've read, AEM actually makes the nismo intake, so they should be the same product.

If the Stillen intake fits under the extra bracing, I think that would be the best option. Stillen is the only intake that comes sealed which helps resist heat soak.

If it has to be Nismo, then just wait a few weeks as they're supposed to be available sometime in February.

They actually are the same kit. I have the Nismo on my car and a friend of mine has the AEM on his car. The only difference is the color on each intake. Personally I would wait on the Nismo or the AEM before purchasing any other intake only because I havent heard anything good about the fijita, havent heard much on the pop chargers and as for the Stillen intakes they arent producing the power they are supposed too... I would read do more research about which intake to purchase. I think you should keep the Nismo theme

thanks guys, I was mostly considering the NISMO ones for mostly aesthetics, something that just maybe kept with the NISMO theme and added a little something, but after the warranty I'm really considering in getting the Greddy twin Turbo setup for the motor when it comes out. I love the new VQHR engine, but for the NISMO I feel it should have some more power, like the 380 RS. So this would be like just that little something to add untill the time I can add the real power to my girl.

I dunno about advertising rules on the site, but I ordered my nismo intake at mynismo.com

They're supposed to get like 40 of them on Wednesday from what I was told today... With shipping it was 417$

My local dealership wants 520$ for them, hehe..

Is there a reason why people say they don't make power then?
