Default Coupple things i found out about the nismo...

Ok well first of all im new to the forum so im not sure who may have posted any of this but, I have a Redline Nismo #0472. I have put the Nismo Intake on it so far but I do have some big plans for it.

A coupple things I have found out so far.... One if anyone has gotten thier windows tinted there is 2 kinds of tint they use, one is metallic and the other is ceramic, if you got your windows tinted with the metallic tint, it has small pieces of metal in it which throw off your TPMS light. I know it sounds odd but I heard it straight from Nissan.

Also there is a place who can Twin Turbo your Nismo I was told about that will do all custom piping, plus....

350Z twin turbo system-complete.two T-3/T4 60-1 hi-fi turbos,oil
feed and return lines,304SS headers with merge collectors, two
38mm Tial wastegates,two 304SS downpipes,Spearco
intercooler,Mocal scavenge pump,aluminum oil sump,hoses and
fittings,aluminum intake and intercooler piping,silicone
hoses, stainless steel hose clamps, HKS Sequential blow-off
valve,two K&N airfilters,Split Second FTC engine management
system (which comes pre-tuned), 440cc injectors,Walboro 255 fuel
pump

Im looking to do all of this within the next month or so, plus I need to upgrade the exhaust to a true dual 3" hi-flowing cats

Other then that I just was wondering, what stuff can be done to the Nismo? I know since it has the VQ35HR in it there isent much out yet but, does anyone really know all of the NA stuff available for it?

And incase anyone wanted to know if you are looking to sell your nismo rims, they run about $1050 Each on the back and I think $950 in the front, so they are about $4,000 worth of rims from nissan.

Hopefully I helped some of you guys out!

Ummm....No. People have sold those here for around $1,000 - $1,500.
For $4k you can get some nice Volks with tires, actually for less than $4k.

But anyways, welcome.

Yeah, Umm I doubt anyone would pay that much for those rims....at least I hope not !

I would definately buy Volks over those OEM's if I were shelling that kind of cash.

i didn't get the whole tune your suspension, but im interested to see what shop he says will do it.. I know GTM is in the process of mass producing the TT kit (real big numbers supposedly, they said the HR motor is a beast)..

The shop is SpeedForceRacing.com, the suspension they were going to set up for straight line and fully tune the car. And not $17,000.00 more like $15,000.00 ish But the price varrys really, on what u want. They work on mainly 350z's and G35 and so forth.

And the window tint theres 2 types of tint one metallic (which has the pieces of metal in it to help block the suns uv rays) and the ceramic which is basically without the mettal but can still withstand blocking the uv rays which is why it cost a little more.

Talk to Tim at speedforce hes the one who has been helping me out.

But dose anyone still know if there is any NA stuff available for the nismo? Cuz if there isnt I may just go all out and do the TT this upcomming month.

i tinted my windows @ 35%(like i have done with every car i owned) and i have not noticed my tire light go off. i do have nitro in my tires though. i was told that the ceramic tint does not affect bluetooth in cars where mettalic tint does. so maybe the tire monitering uses blue tooth to relay the signal?

I'm surprised no one knew it was SFR as soon as he listed the parts included.

Go to the HR forum and read the stickies.

Ah yes I have seen your car!! I live in Tallahassee as well. By the way do not rely on a DAMN thing KRAFT Nissan says. They are probably one of the biggest rip off *** hat Nissan dealers out there.

Also I have metallic tint and it didn't do a thing to my TPMS. But go to Super Daves they are the best in town.

Anyways welcome.

I don't have a Nismo, I just wish I did lol. There are 3 in town that I have seen. Your red one, a black one, and a silver one.

Like I said before. Don't trust a damn thing Kraft Nissan tells you. They about lost their ability to sell Nissans a few years back. The Service manager doesn't know d!ck about cars and the service department is one of the worst in town.

GTRs will be sold through Prestige in Thomasville. FWIW

Greddy is coming out (maybe March) a twin turbo kit for the VQ35HR.

The kit mention sounds like SFR twin turbo kit. Contact TurboTim at Speed Force Racing for details. (I am not aware of a turbo kit available from SFR for the VQ3.5HR engine). If so, that would be a new turbo kit that you could inform everyone on the FI section.
