Default New NISMO purchase, what to do

Getting my new 07/08ish NISMO next week in southern california and wanted to ask some advice on things I should check in the NISMO before I drive off the lot and shortly afterwards: (I'll start)

Before
Ensure I am getting any NISMO freebies I can get
Check to make sure the suspension plastic spacers are removed

After
Clear Bra
Protection polish

Anything else?

Make sure you get your COA from Nissan for your Nismo.

I remember MC posting that there's something on the suspension that need to be removed. It's sort of a clip thing. I'll see if I can find it.

EDIT: Here it is https://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=298660

You pretty much have it covered. The freebies I would aim for are Nismo floormats and a Nismo license frame. If you can't get the Nismo mats for free, I'd buy something aftermarket as the quality isn't very good to begin with.

Pure $$$ marketing. I used to be a manager for Mitsubishi and Toyota. Trust me, if you're getting an '07, I would shoot for the NISMO floor mats, since they are not standard options for the 2007 MY run. If it's an '08 MY, I would try to get the best possible price, then try to get them to give free oil-changes, or gap insurance and the like. remember, it doesn't hurt to ask.
