Unhappy Feel My Pain...It's a quick read

I'm the proud owner of a 2007 SA Nissan Nismo 350Z #0191. I just wanted everyone to know I haven't driven my car in two months and I'm having a nervous break down right now that I can't. I'm currently in Djibouti, Africa serving in the United States Navy as an IT. I'm on this website and a million others read stories and looking at pics just to get my high that I would normally get from just turning my car on...I just wanted to share this with everyone to enjoy driving your Zs and for all those who don't drive there cars you missing out and I am sorry for you.

Well here is a car story from the horrible state of Washington where my car " Lin'da " is currently stored.

It was sometime last year November when I left a local car meet out in Bremerton, Washington...real quick this state sucks...OK back to the story so after having everyone question me about buying the car when there's a million other things to do with the money I decided to leave. I was with a friend and it was ten or so at night and I was heading south on the three to get some gas. Now there is a section on there where it's flat out for half a mile straight and smooth. So After filling her up with only the best I slowly got back on the three and slowled traffic to a crawl (the two or so cars behind me). Looking over at my friend to insure he pays attention to the speed indicator..I quickly down shifted to second to rev back up to 6500 rpm cause I was approaching that section of perfection (<-ryhmed). Coming around this slight curve I was already in third clearing 105mph. PAUSE Normally in third I go REDLINE for some reason I feel it makes fourth shorter/quicker for some reason. PLAY Slam the hammer back to fourth and on comes 120...........130.....as my friend shouts it out to me ....140....143........Fifth as many of you would agree it's like heaven...noise is blocked out and the road get narrow and the only thing on your mind is that 150 is coming up.....152...........154....6...7..7...7...654321....now I did that cause first off I'm a safe driver and I'm not one for wrecks over a thrill....there was from the rear at night a mustang in the slow lane so I asked my friend to comfirm....at those speeds you only get one look at it......So I probably passed it at 138 mph......Thinking nothing of it I slowed back down to the speed limit put it on cruise at 54. While wiping my hands from all the love making juices I just created and laughing with my passenger on how fun that was, that the car made it there with limited stress...I noticed in the rear view that light was approaching rather fast...ummmmm.....yes you thought correct cops......a state trooper had just started he's watch and I was his first stop......Luckly he said he didn't calibrate his radar and two when he pulled me over the first words out his mouth was "what is this"......me with a smile from ear to ear return replied this is my new 2007 SA Nissan Nismo 350z #0191. He laughed with me and said when I pasted him all he could think of was "WOW...I wonder what that was"....now doing the speed limit of 50 mph and getting pasted up by someone doing 157 I can understand his comment....We joked around while he check my liscense and insurance. I checked out his Mustang and the new K band radars they got out now and all the different sneeky car the Bremerton cops have out to stop illegal street racing. Then he let me go...no ticket just a warning

I feel your pain. I've been in Japan for almost 2 years. My IA could be Djibouti, who knows. My security officer is there.

Thank you for your service to our country..... please drive safely. 150+ on anything but a race track is not safe. I'll just leave the love juice part alone.

I call BS, a certified radar controller, doesnt even need a radar to give you a ticket!!!!!! Also at that speed he would have bent you over and stuffed you in the back of his car, had your towed.......

i dont believe it. if a cop could give me a ticket for going 75 in a 65 i dont see why he wouldnt give u a tickets for going 157 regardless if he had a radrar or not he could easily guesstimate how fast u were going. state troopers are trained to do that
