What is the best and safest way to clean the engine?
For the engine, you can cover the sensitive parts, then powerwash, followed by a soap of your choice, then powerwash again to rinse.
Unless the engine is really dirty though, I don't think this is necessary. A quick wipe down of the engine bay after each car wash makes all the difference.

don't wash the eng unless u have a oil leak.sensors and all the senitive parts function from ele. resistance.corrosion on the ele. connections will mess up how the car runs.no one see the eng comp. unless you show them.
