I just happened to be talking to one of my neighbors today, and he asked me what kind of car "that" was.

I told him, and he said, "O I thought it was a Porsche."

I know this is a repost (sort of), but are there really that many people who don't know cars. I mean a Porsche has a pretty distinct look, and so does the Z.

Nissan may seriously want to consider making a look alike to a porsche like Crysler did to the Bentley with its 300 model, and before you know it all the Yuppys will be buying them off the shelves

Is this Porsche thing that common of an occurance, I mean if so, next time I run into a bimbo with huge cans, i might just be like yea its a $100K porsche.... will you show me those sweater puppets?

Yeah, people that confuse them don't know one car from another. A car is just a car to those people.

Same issue here, women suddenly did me when they think I drive a Porsche. They seem more than stOOpid when I tell em it is a NiSSAn, it is worth it just to see the look on their faces.

 

Haha! That's really funny! I've gotten that a dozen times already. There's a really funny line from a hip hop group called "Little Brother", dude says "I'll scoop you up in me Porshe, sike, You know I got a Nissan that I'm still paying for, still got a lease on."

the Nismo Z's looks are VERY close to a GT3s... I do not have pics, but compare them and you will see...

 

I can see the resemblance. I've had more than a few people make the same comment. From certain angles it does look like a GT3.

 

True the GT3 and Nismo Z look alike but the Nismo can be had for a third of the price. So which would you rather have?

 

Someone who doesn't own a Z will think it's a porsche ripoff. To us, they're completely different. You should've said, "no it's not a porsche, it's a RUF".

 

I just dont see it...maybe its the elongated headlamps or something....

I had the exact same thing happen to me. A guy said, "Nice Porsche!" And I said, actually it's a Nissan. He still liked the car but it was pretty funny.

 

yea this happened to me at the nissan dealership even, one of the service guys said it looks like a porsche...

 

 

Someone told me my porsche looks like a Zed... just kidding
