Default Tire Pressure Indicator Malfunction

I searched but didn't find anyone else who is getting a false reading from their tire pressure indicator light. It came on yesterday on my new car's (nismo PPW - 150 miles) first day out and I immediately checked the tire pressure and all tires were within 1 lb of 35 PSI, if not right on the button. I topped them all up, though, and then drove the car for the rest of the day (yes, exceeding the 16 mph necessary to reset the light). Has anybody dealt with this before and, if so, what can I do to reset the system?

My lights been on since I got the car last week at 358 miles. All the tires seemed to be pretty full when I pushed on all the tires by hand, haven't gotten around to gauging it yet.

You might just need to go to the dealership and have them make sure all your sensors are on. Could just be that one of them isn't transmiting. Or you could just have a bad one.

Is it cold where you are. Mine has been on from the second day I have bought it. It hasn't gotten above 45 degrees here yet....

I bought my car 10/07 and my light came on for pass 2 months.
Soon as weather warmed up the light went out. Not a clue.

I live in southern Alabama and the light's been on since I got it (last week :P). It's been above 80F in that time 2 or 3 times.

Let me know what you all find out. Even though it is cold here in Indiana right now, my tires are still inflated to 35 psi, so I don't know why the tire pressure indicator light would still be on.

I hope this doesn't mean that I have to take my car back to the dealership. I don't necessarily trust those guys touching my car, especially after what they've done to me so far ;o)

The owners manual says this will happen when temperatures get low. I just glanced over it, but I think the manual says theres a switch or some kind of cold tempurature setting that can be adjusted so the light will go off.

Serious question..... When I got my NISMO I had Nitrogen in the tires and thought that it was standard.... Is it or did I just get a dealer installed option?
