Got myself #943 Redline Red
I have been reading these forums for a couple weeks now and figured I would finally register...
Ive read up about the nismo Z's and I know how it only has a nismo muffler with tips. I wanted to know what y-pipe & test pipe would go good with the muffler. The reason im asking is because a lot of these pipes have different diameters and I dont want to ruin the exhaust note..
Im in FL so I dont have to worry about the emissions...

It would be very cool if some one could give me some info about the exhaust. I've been driving the Nismo for 2 weeks now, and I love it. Haven't really driven it hard yet, waiting till the break in period is over, still have about 200 miles to go. It would be cool to see another Nismo on the road, but haven't seen one yet. Does anyone know how Nogaro reds have been made?
The Nismo does not have a Nismo muffler. The only difference between a stock 350z muffler and Nismo's is that it's stainless instead of painted flat black and it has the different tips. It's just a cosmetic change.
You can pretty much do any y-pipe and tp/hfc combo you like. Search the exhaust sub-forums and you'll see reviews from different people about how loud they are, if there's any rasp, or drone, etc. Then buy what sounds right to you.
