Default Are the GTSPEC braces worth adding to the NISMO?

So are the GTSPEC braces worth adding or is the additional welding and bracing on the NISMO sufficient.

The GTSPEC braces are suppose to increase subframe rigidity. The parts I'm interested in are the front, rear and rear lateral braces. They're decently priced at around $80-90 per brace depending on the vendor.

I noticed a tremendous difference.

However, I don't have the 4 point brace. The 07+ OEM Y pipe and the brace didn't work well together and I didn't want to force it. I figured since it was aluminum, it would deteriorate over time. I was thinking about getting a new Y pipe but didn't want to without a full exhaust system. I was contemplating whether to take it to a muffler shop but was concerned about the quality on the other hand.

Not only that, the rear tie brace (not by the pumpkin) that hangs under the OEM B pipe causes a lot of rattle at idle.

Overall, I think they make great products and I love my setup with Cusco sway bars.

I have all the braces (waiting to be installed) and an '03 model. From the research I did most owners found the GTSpec fender braces benefit the 350Z the most. Also that all of them work together. A lot of member have just bought one brace and were disapointed. I feel buying those three braces will help stiffen up the NismoZ much more. If that is what you want.

EDIT: Also make sure to get the updated (oversized) front tie brace. The orginal doesn't clear oversized or oil pan spacers.

Thanks for the input guys.

I've read reviews where people don't notice much of a difference, so I'm unsure if it's worth it.

I'd pass on a four point brace at this time as don't want to worry about scraping, even at stock height.

So does more rigid equal a more rougher ride?

Yes a stiffer ride means a rougher ride.

Is interesting what a diferent ride is the nismoZ compared with the track Z.
I thought that the ride on the nismo was much rough than my previous track Z. but I was wrong the nismo is much smooth. might be is because the nismo weights about 500 lbs more. but the body is way stiffer than the track.

I had a previous track Z as well and don't think the NISMO rides any more rough. The NISMO rides like a stock Z IMO and is much more comfortable than a Z with an aftermarket suspension.

BTW, I had an '06 track. If you had an '03 track, it was supposed to have a rougher ride.

no, a more rigid chassis does not necessarily equate to a rougher ride
