Sports Car International: 5 best handling sportscars

SCI's editor Eric Gustafson named these 5 sports cars as the best handling money can buy. Here it is in no particular order of rank:

1. Mazda RX-8
2. Porsche Cayman
3. Audi R8
4. Lotus Elise
5. Nismo 350Z

the Lotus is a go cart with AC...big accomplishment...and being so small not everyone can get in it. I'm speaking for all 6'4 215lbs or bigger guys out there. So if I can fit in it it's not a car...lol

Isn't the R8 quite expensive compared to the GT-R? how do you not include that in there... unless they didn't count it in their test due to GT-Rs not hitting the US yet. hrrrmmmmmmm

that list goes from about 25K to 60K then 100K plus for the R8. best value for money .......ahey

How can you make a subjective list of "best" anything if you haven't experienced not only everything on the list but many others to compare them against?

what about ferrari's and such? and i find it hard to believe that the cayman handles better than any other porsche. Is this a best bang for your buck type of list?

The Evo X msr is not out in the USA yet,at this rate it most likely be a 2009.It was suppose to come out this month.Looking at the mitsubishi site as i write this,no info yet.I'm sure when it does show up here it will be great but i doubt it will out do the IX due to it's heavy weight,it's over 3700 lbs now.
