Unhappy 08 Nismo Problem

Hey guys,

Have a bit of a problem, I recently came back from a trip up north to Sacramento. As I was getting there I started noticing a funny smell, kind of like gas (from a stove top, not fuel) or something, but didnt think much of it. I drove back on sunday and the smell was still there. I poped the hood and checked to see if the engine bay smelled, but it didnt, it smelled normal (good I guess) I checked the underneath of the car on the driver's side and it smelled pretty strong. When the car is cold it doesnt smell but once its warmed up it starts again. Its now Wednesday and still smells. I am going to WCN on Saturday for my first oil change so I will also ask them to check it out. The car only has 1,980 miles on it; and I waited until after my break-in period to go on this trip. Any ideas as to what it can be?

^^ definatly check that. If your saying it smells like natural gas, could be burning plastic bag...

Car is breaking in. Sounds normal to me. The Cat's will make a smell for a while till it gets some miles on the car. Mine did it for a while, and now it doesn't even exist. I have 7300 miles currently.

Yeah, I'm at like 1900 and just got a whiff of something, almost sweet, but not delicious.

I would have been worried, but if it's happening to everyone, worst case scenario I get a new car.
