Wow that Poor NISMOz
Also guys those two have done bad things to there NISMO'S.
The girl is running pro-kit! in which just slammed the car to the ground. Also the fact that pro-kits spring rates are much softer then Autech NISMO tuned ones that come on the car also the NISMO z is not made for drag racing
If I was that dealer I would have made them pay full out of the pocket for them.
Some people don't need NISMOz.

Just turned over 1500 miles, I too have the squeaking brakes, typically rolling up to a stop @ < 5mph. Probably has occurred 3x in the past 500 miles, one of these happening this afternoon.

If Timken makes anything that will work (which I'm not sure what all they make), get them. I worked in a performance warehouse for a while and those were what every successful team was using. I never looked into their applications b/c wheel bearings to me won't be replaced until they need to be.

lol yessir! Don't get me wrong, I like the car... but it's no Saleen S7... it's not like it belongs in a museum.
.... actually if I had an S7 i'd probably rip the *** outta that too. You only live once, I don't see the point in holding back.

The after-market front and rear wheel bearings are Timken.
I purchased one F & R to carry as spares to track days.....I have not had to use them yet, so I can't comment on how they wear.
BTW: I got mine @ www.autopartswarehouse.com....they have sales all the time..that is when I purchases spare parts....

My thing is that why did you buy NISMO z and rip it apart???
You should have just got base 350z and been done with it.
All the R&D that Autech and NISMO put into that car your just Fing it up.
With only 1500 being made it's a car that you don't want *** up.
You sound like those Honda 4-door racers with getteo fart can catback and homemade fake racing parts!!

because it's just a f'ng car! Dude... it's not a limited production Porsche, or Rolls Royce. It's a $38,00 nissan- not a masteripece.
I fail to see how your flaming response is in any way related to the thread topic, on that note I'm glad you appreciate your nismo and think it's something really special, it's probably the best thing you've ever had.

I quote her...
has a nice WORKING aereodynamics, has a nice chassis.... than suspension are still STREET suspensions, exhaust is a stock one with two ghetto tips (those cheap bastards could at least put the full 3 inch nismo not this crap)
is not a porsche GT3 RS... that is not a GT3 CUP... that is not a Carrera GT...
still a car. cheap for someone, expensive for someone else... but still a car.

This is MCR's Nismo. It is one of the ones they use for the Z-Masters series in Japan. They tossed the suspension and went with adjustable coil-overs (Tein Super Racing, I believe), put on a titanium muffler, swapped the wheels for Enkei GTC-01's (this was required though since 19's aren't allowed in the series), changed the hood and spoiler (it's subtle, but it's a different top-wing), new ECU, and other things to improve the car for racing.
There are supposed to be just as many made for Japan as there are for the U.S. (difference is that theirs aren't individually numbered).
Autech/Nismo's R&D was to build a streetable car to be sold to the mass population that would be capable at the track. That doesn't mean the car is perfect, just that it's already got a jump over the standard model when it comes to performance. It can easily be improved on. And anyone that wants to modify it to suit their tastes is in my cool book. Even if it isn't what I would've done.

I don't see what the difference is between drag racing the Nismo Z or doing Road Course events. If anything I would think the Road Courses would be more stress and abuse on the car...and that's what the car was MADE FOR! I don't see people taking off nice and slow/soft on road courses and shifting at 3K rpms. You take off hard at a road course just like at the 1/4 mile. Atleast in the 1/4 mile you are getting on the car for 13 seconds...not 13 minutes. Road courses sustain high rpms...and you are on the brakes hard. Since this is what the car was made to do then how is it bad for it???
