But can David Beckham's brother drive a car at 20 mph without hitting a stationary object?

I met him when he was driving his Nismo near my neighborhood. I had heard from the dealer that a 19 year old Russian bought the Nismo I was looking at, and I can't say as I believed the story until I saw it for myself. He is a great kid. He's very bright and motivated. I'm just sorry to hear that his car is no more. He was the only other person here in Indianapolis that I knew owned a Nismo.
While I do believe he may have been pushing his car a little harder than his story implies, I'd ask who among us hasn't? I know I've had mine sideways a couple of times (once in a roundabout) but I was fortunate that I was able to reel it back in before hitting something or someone. Anyone who denies that the Nismo with stock tires doesn't get a little squirrelly on wet pavement in heavily trafficked areas either is lying or hasn't tested the limits of his or her vehicle. Let's face it, the Nismo is like driving a car on rails on clean, dry pavement, but it's drives like your ice skating when you meet with gravel or wet, oily pavement, not to mention snow.
Good luck on your next car Alexy!

oh btw we've all pushed our car hard, at least i have. but you shouldve asked who has pushed the car hard in very heavy rain with slick or flooded roads where you have to drive 15-20 mph SLOWER than the posted speed limits, lol.
oh, and you must not be a good ice skater

Now then...some of you cannot understand that a teenager or someone in their early 20's can work hard and earn money to purchase cars, homes, etc, then you need to get a serious clue. Just becuase you were unable to achieve that, do not assume no one else could. Alex works hard for HIS money. Overtime, etc.
I have another close car friend that purchased EVERYTHING he owns with money HE earned. Nothing handed to him by anyone. He purchased an NSX when a teen. He still has it and a 2001 Lambo Diablo, Motorcycle, 2 work trucks, van, shifter cart, just purchased a 5 bedroom house in a nice area, owns his own company that he started and he is currently 24 years old. He drives and drives well.
Point is, don't go trashing someone because of their age if you are clueless to the circumstances. Same goes for correcting spelling. English is not Alex's first language, so give it a rest. He's a heck of a great guy that any of you would be proud to know...assuming you actually tried to get to know him.
I really liked the guy that questioned it raining in Indiana. I believe he was from Calif based on the signature. Pretty bright there.
Onto the accident...
A month ago, Indiana had a very bad storm. It was coming down so hard it was like driving 5mph through a waterfall. Hide in the basement bad. That is when the first accident occured. Hydroplanning. I have personally been driving Z's since the 1978 280Z and my second Z just turned 25. The conditions that night could have taken out anyone.
Saturday morning, we had heavy rains again in Indianapolis. The traffic circle where the accident happened was wet, had visible oil, the storm drain was clogged and water was pooling. Also, with all the landscaping done, you cannot see the otherside of the traffic circle until you round it. The city thought that would prevent people from trying to drive straight across the circle. A couple of guys tried and died.
I was not there when the accident happened, so I can only speak to what I saw after the fact. I did receive the call from other Z friends and was at the ER when Alex was released. So for all of you saying this never happened, sorry, but you are WRONG.
Alex was taken from the accident scene in an ambulance and stayed at the ER for some 5 hours. The car was towed elsewhere. Alex did not have a camera and was more concenred with his health and the health of the other driver. I personally drove to the towing yard and took pictures. The car is totaled. So for those of you that cannot believe something actually happened without seeing it, here are a couple of shots.

Geeze...I'm really embarrassed by the attitudes you people show fellow Z'ers. That's really sad.

Ironically, that's the very same roundabout that I got sideways in. It's extremely oily and can catch anyone off guard if you aren't looking for it.

However, as a web admin, I can tell you most of them aren't who they say they are. Most are probably kids who who have infiltrated the forum or are just isolated individuals who are just looking for some way to be more important than they really are. The technical term for them is a "troll." The term "troll" comes from the old days of Usenet but is still a handy term when trying to identify those people who thrive on baiting others into some sort of emotional response, one that is usually negative.
The best way to deal with a troll is to ignore them. Without attention, they go away. Unfortunately, this thread is almost entirely comprised of trolls so it is probably lost. Did Alex set himself up for flaming? Yes he did. But does that mean that people have to take the opportunity to make try and make themselves look better by pointing out the fallibility of another? No. A normal person reads this thread and moves on.
This type of thread, however, is where the "troll" thrives. They live for the opportunity to deride others as a means of making themselves look smarter or more important than they really are. Believe me, I don't fully understand this phenomenon, but it's definitely one that your boy Freud would have had a field day with. These guys either haven't had a date in this century or lack the equipment to do anything about it if they did. The person who responds to my thread will be the king of the trolls, mark my word.
Good luck and hope to see you at some of the Z rallies here in Indy, and thanks for the honorable defense of a fellow Z owner. I wish there were more people like yourself on the internet.
Peace,
~Brad

what i find funny is that many of the posts by 280ZXT fit this definition.
