Default Click or Pop from clutch?

Does anyone else have this issue?
It doesn't bother me that much but I don't want to have problems later.

After the clutch is depressed and you are releasing, it "clicks" or "pop" from around the pedal? My 05 Accord also had this strange noise.
I saw from a post that someone recommended using WD-40 around the pedal/clutch?

Any advice is great!

Yea that happens to mine, its usually when im in traffic or trying to shift at really low RPMs, or backing out or pulling into a parking spot.

I'm pretty sure its normal... (I hope)

It's been happening to mine for about a 2 months now. It's starting to get on my nerves. I'm debating if I should take it to the dealership or try to trouble shoot this myself.

If it isn't creating any real problem, leave it alone. If you want to take it to the dealer I am sure they can create one for you

In all seriousness, your best bet may be to call them up and tell them what is going on, and possibly bring it in and show them yourself. Maybe they have come across it before and just tell you Yay or Nay on a fix. But I wouldn't want them pulling my car apart to fix the problem, because that means they will have to put it back together.

From personal experience when someone has to put something back together, it always involves a new scratch or something on my car that pisses me off for months.

I'm thinking about going in and only showing them the issue but not let them touch my freaking car. Just to see what kind of lame excuse they are going to give me. I can easily produce this noise weather the car is off or on, all I have to do is depress the clutch and release it and "clunk" or "pop".

My question is, do you think this will cause a problem in the future?
I can live with the abnormal "cluck" or "pop" as long as the car is going to run fine...

I had an S13 years ago and it had the same problem, more prononced though. Not only could you hear it you could just feel it on the bottom of your foot. Turned out that a plastic bushing that held an assist spring had broken apart and was making the noise. Only pieces of the bushing was left just slidding around in the hole making all sorts of we're popping and crackling noises when the clutch pedal was depressed. I removed the assist spring all together and just drove it w/ ther heavier clutch pedal force.

I have the same issue. I'm going to bring it in this Wednesday. We'll see what the dealer does.

Just started noticing this last night when backing up, then again when i rolled forward. The sound went away but It might be because of the engine noise/wind drowned out the noise. 06 @ 35k miles. I should check if theres any recalls on this for 06.

my 06 started to make the noise after about a year of driving. i took it into the stealership to check it out (since it was still well under warranty), and they seemed to have fixed it. the tech mentioned that some metal wire(?) was abrasing against the clutch pedal lever or something. anyways, the noise was gone for a while, but it came back after about 6 months again. now, i'm just driving it around...

i went to Connell Nissan in Costa Mesa, just in case if you were wondering.
good luck.

Sorry to bring back the old thread alive.
But I noticed my 06 doing the same thing. The clutch always 'clicks' when engaging the gas pedal as I let it go.
My car has less than 25000 miles.
Should I take it to the dealer?

Haha. Never made it to the dealership...
Still makes the "click/clunk" noise when I release the clutch but no problems yet...

So you mean that they just replaced the clutch master cylinder and that annoying noise was gone? Isn't this the problem with the bearing or something? Mine has about 4.5k miles now and started to hear this noise about 2 months ago. Is really annoying but really can't find any solution to this problem here in the forum. I will record the sound and post it later...
