Default Intake war continued!!!!!

whats up everyone just received my injen intake today. Going in the morning to get the car dyno and get the intakes on. the best thing is that im going to do a before and after dyno with the intake on, and seeing its going to be on the same day the results should be even more accurate. I was hoping that someone in the south florida area might have some intake set ups that way we can out all this talk to rest, its 50 for 3 pulls. cant wait to post the results tomm.

Don't forget to reset the ECU between pulls.
If you don't know how to do this, check the link

can't wait for the dyno sheet!! But one thing about resetting the ECU though, is it gonna automatically adjust itself after you driving your car for a while?

hmm, injen intake for $500 and 5whp, and K&N drop ins for $120 and 3whp, aftermarket intakes arent worth the $ IMO

Dude, i don't think your going to be able to put them on NISMO 350z.

Tell you why, If you look down in front bumper you will see that there are braces that are in the way to keep the tubes from running and filters going on.

So you might want to check that out.

Well that is what we will find out. NO ONE has done a dyno the same day with swapping out the stock with the Injen intakes.

very true, it was the biggest pain in the ***. Im pretty sure its the power steering cooler on the passenger side but the lines are kind of in the way when the injen wraps up into the bumper. Also the dampner was in the way when u had to relocate the horns, there was also a two brackets u have to drill the rivet out. All these things are different from the regular z and the nismo, dont think injen took that into consideration. Putting them on the regular z would have been a whole lot easier. with that being said im very happy the way it turned out besides the little hick-ups along the way. sounds awesome, espicially 500 rpm before redline.

I was going to do the dyno the same day but as someone pointed out after i reset the computer i wanted to drive around for 2-3 days before i got the second one done, to give the computer time to adjust. i put down 264 i live in south florida it was 88 in the bay. i also just ordered my hks exhaust im curious to see the power difference between that and the nismo exhaust. We can put another issue to rest. The next thing is either a cobb accesport or technosquare re-flash, getting one or the other next week. If u guys can lend an opinion that it would be helpful. When i get that done im also going to go and dyno again.

Cobb accesport is better as it allows you to bring the car back to stock if any warranty issues arise.

Pics of the install?
