Very rough ride, and on certain road conditions it could be loud inside the cockpit due to the boxed in frame! Does anyone know what the 0-60 time is on a 2007 Grand Touring model? Just wondering!
I would say that unless you want the comfort amenities that comes in a touring and Grand Touring Z, the Nismo is just the perfect purist cars for under $40,000.

do you have an obsession with grand tourings for some reason? and the nismo z's suspension isn't that bad for daily driving, poeple who complain about it are just pu$$ies.

I like how you put that.

I think way it handles is worth it.

I think it would be cheaper to get the Nismo and put leather seats, the "blose" system in it. Than it would be to get a GT and buy all the Nismo parts for it (I think the body work would be cost prohibitive).

A fully loaded GT is about the same price as a new Nismo if I recall correctly.

What? Not. As far as the roughness goes it isn't rough at all. In fact it rides better than my 03 Track. The shocks sucked on the 03's.

People that complain about the rough ride are not pure enthusiast! It kind of reminds me of all the Porsche driving posers. They just like to be seen in it and they cant drive it to save their lives.

I daily drive mine to work... after work today I'm driving from Columbia, SC to Beaufort for a beach trip. Road trips are not a problem.

They both were inspired by the same race car! Side by side they even look very similar.

meh, kinda, but not so much. the actuall nismo front bumper has been proven to provide downforce, theres no info behind the V.2 whether it does or not, i still say no.

I wont disagree with your statement. But when I decided to get a new z I wanted a totally loaded car. IMO all the amenities help make the driving exsperience better! The smell of the leather for me is part of that exsperience. The sound, and feel is also big!

heated leather seats and the "upgraded" bose system? If you wanted a luxury car with some pep you should have gotten the G coupe.

It's far more luxurious than the GT.

We just have different priorities. I decided on the best handling Z made. You wanted nice smelling leather seats. To each his own.

So your actually going to write that the V.2 wasnt used in GTR racing? I hope your kidding! Its actually a race part not a USDM Nismo item. Thats why just a small few Nissan dealers can get them! I know my local dealers couldnt, not even with me giving them the actual Nismo part #! Also I hope you really dont talk like that because I would fell bad for making you look even dumber with your comment!

I never said it wasn't used in GTR racing, just that they don't really look the same, so chill out.

Obviously Nissan is going to push what they are trying to sell, right! If they would have made a Nismo Edt 2 yrs ago it probably would have had a V.2 on it with marker lights instead of canards. But the 2 fasias are very similar in look and design.

And there lies the beauty and the reason why there are so many variations of the Z. If I am not mistaking, there may be 6 different variations of the Z to suite your own personal needs.

Lets see, we have the Base, Enthusiast, Track, Touring, Grand Touring and Nismo versions of the Z. I own a Touring myself, since I also wanted the leather seats.

EDITED: However, from a purist standpoint, the Nismo version is King!

The V3 was being raced/developed before sells on the Nismo Z began. It actually generates downforce at speeds as low as 70 mph.
