I was told today from local nissan dealer that there are no more nismos being made for 2008? has anyone else heard this, should we be keeping our nismo's in the garage?

Don't park it. Drive it like you stole it. That's what these things are made for. I'm not one that believes these things will be an appreciating investment.

I heard the no Nismos thing too.
Thats what the dealer told me when I backed out of a Nismo deal the dealership changed (3 things) at the finance table. Like it would make me overlook the attempted screw job.

But that was late 2007.....

OMFG what will I do???? I was gonna buy one and hope that in 40 years if i still have it and never drive it that it will be worth 5 thousand more than I paid for it. They're numbered you know.

If you get a Nismo you better mod the ish out of it and drive it like it was meant to be driven.

Don't forget looking at it once a week and show it to your friends while telling them what a great "investment" it is. All the while pontificating about the true essence of the car.
The only "essence" that I want is the essence of tire smoke!

1500 made between 07 & 08. The dealer is probably right.

you're now starting to sounds like someone who wishes he had one and is trying to displace his anger by downplaying the Nismo...

Speaking of which is anyone in this thread an actual owner or are they in the same "angry" boat?

I'm not downplaying the Nismo. They're great cars. I just can't see "parking" it.

Oh, I see you're living in California. The State of Fail. I live in a 2000 ft^2 house, with a 2 door garage and a pool on almost a half acre (I can do a acre conversion for you CA folks) That would be half a mill for you right?

Different priorities I guess. I'm not stretching myself thin.

Pretty much nailed it on the head there. I guess the only thing we have going for us is foreclosures Just cause my neighbor is 5 feet away doesn't mean I am like ny300z and don't know math For real though, I think the Nismo platform is the best to build from. Not to be kept stock. I still want the **** pic damn it.

so your saying they may bring back the nismo into full production for the Z34 lineup?
