Still hot off the presses is the Fall '08 issue of Nissan Sport Magazine. Besides the landmark 50th Anniversary of Nissan in the USA feature, NISMO owners will want to check out the article on page 20: "Catching Godzilla: NISMO 350Z vs. GT-R". Testing both cars on a European F1 track was beyond belief and putting the throttle well and truly down on both cars only added to the pleasure!
We also have previews of the '09 Nissan truck line and just-released Infiniti G37X sedan and coupe. The Fall issue should be at Barnes and Noble, Borders and Hasting bookstores in the coming weeks. Check out the cover and TOC at: www.nissansportmag.com

Wouldnt mind reading that article, very seriously considering renewing my order. I'm just not that interested in Trucks, Versas or waiting forever for the next issue.

It seems alittle unfair, but not too bad. I'm sure the Nismo Z could hold its own in the turns, but in the straights ? Bye bye !
Its kinda like a bigger brother beating up on the little brother.

Go to nissansportmag.com and click on newsstands. It'll bring you to a page with B&N, Borders and Hastlings. Pick one of those vendors and it'll allow you to search for store that carry Nissan Sport by zip code. Of course, a one year sub isn't that much more and is delivered directly to your mailbox...

The fall issue should be showing up in subscribers mailboxes shortly and in bookstores any day now. Any comments on the 'Catching Godzilla' article yet?
It arrived on Saturday and went for the article first. Sounds like the better driver in Nismo can catch poor driver in Godzilla on tight course when the GTR horsepower can't be brought to bear. Did you get more than a couple of laps in the Nismo? Left me wanting for another page or two on your impressions of the Nismo Z's capabilities. How bought filling us in?

Keep in mind that this issue of Nissan Sport featured a historical perspective on 50 years of Nissan in the USA. That feature rightfully took the lion's share of the book and we had plenty of other content to fit as well. For those seeking more detail on the NISMO vs. Godzilla article, I've added more content on our blogpage:

Hopefully, this will help address what Solo-350Z and VillaZX are seeking. I wonder what snakebitten thinks? Post up any questions/comments here or on the blogsite, since I keep a closer eye on it!

Thanks for the added info in the blog. I would have loved to see where the NISMO fell in the giant comparo handling test that Motor Trend had in their October issue. GTR vs NISMO really is not a fair comparison head to head. GTR is just on another level. Maybe one of these days you'll get some extended track time and can give us more info.
