Just found out today that Jennifer was transfered to a new department. I am now corresponding with the Manager of Specialty vehicles to find out total number of production. I'll let you know when I get an answer.

I don't know where you're getting your info from, but theres no such thing as just a european nismo 350z. ALL nismo 350z's have black seats with red inserts and ALL have a numbered plaque, so saying "Europe got black with no plates" means there is no way in hell those are nismo editions.

There is no European Nismo model. They were only made for the U.S. and Japan. The Japanese models had black seats with grey inserts and no plates. The U.S. model has red inserts and numbered plates.
If a Nismo is in Europe, it is likely to have been imported from Japan, and would be a Japanese spec model (like blackiepaul's). If a Nismo is in South America or North America outside of the U.S., it's likely to be a U.S. spec model.
They are ALL nismo editions, but I'm sure research has shown that Americans like limited edition cars to be numbered, so they numbered ours.

The numbered plates are apparently just a U.S. or north american thing.

The latest update per David Ciulla, Manager of Specialty Vehicles is cars #1607-1613 went to Guan. Pogiboy's #1609 must be from this group. Looks like total production is 1613.

Nissan's official word was that the Nismo production would not exceed 10% of 350Z's produced. However, this was a bit vague as they never specified if it would be 10% of all 350z's produced worldwide, North American production, North American + Japan (since they have approx. as many Nismos over there as we do, just not numbered), or if it was production of 1 model year or 2 (since it was made in both '07 and '08).

Check the article out date is from 7/24/07 right after the release of the Nismo. At the time Nissan had told several different sources that the car was going to be in limited production. The numbers then were 1500. Well they changed things up and made more so for the few of us that bought an 07 when they first came out may kind of feel jipped.
