Default Just got my new 08 black neezo #1180

hey guys after months of lurking and asking questions on this forum i finally picked it up, 08 black nismo with 20miles #1180. Got it for 28.3k with rebate. Thank you to everyone for answering my questions and giving me advice!

Driving it home i noticed it was bumpy as shietttttt... and i remember reading about those darn shipping spacers... jacked the car up.. and lookie here...

for some reason, there was 3 on the driver side and 2 on the passenger side did i miss one? There isnt any in the rear right?

Another thing that bothered me was the rear. It kicks up pebbles and makes noise and i noticed theres no mud flap...

did any of your nismos come with rear mud flaps? Where do you think i can get a set installed? i dont want to go back to the stealership, they tried to scam me for more money like 5 times and i kept leaving while i was neg. the price of the car. Thanks

PS. its raining today, will post pics of car when the weather is nicer

Congrats on the purchase.
As far as mudflaps go...your car, your call.
I don't think they will fit with the bodykit?
I know they will not look good, but hey it's
just my opinion. Whatever you decide to do,
you still have a NISMO!

Congrats on the new Niz!

Mud Flaps on the car would take attention away from the factory styling and go straight to the fugly flaps hanging. Your car, your choice. If you think those tires kick up pebbles you should ride in a Niz with 275 Toyo TR1's on the rear.

Awesome price BTW. Its ashame they never prepped the car.

it was preped... lol ok i think i meant to say the wheel welling lining. The piece of plastic that goes above the wheel. Not the mudflap, i always thought it was all one piece.

Congratulation on a GREAT deal! My dealership also forgot to take the shipping spacers off the car as well. And I been driving around with it on for two weeks until I notice them. lol

Wow your dealer sucks for leaving those spacers in. Congrats on the ride though, one sexy machine in black!

I don't think mud flaps will give you any noise reduction. The reason you hear all that noise is because the Nismo does not have much sound deadining in the wheel wheels. The flaps might save your paint a little in the back, but if you notice there are little plastic bits on the rear wheel wheel that stick out a little to prevent that anyways

Good luck.Yes it picks up stuff but liners will take it and you will notice there is no damage.but it sure sounds like it will.

So which borough has the most dirt roads? J/K

The shipping spacers are a novelty you can keep, kind of like treasure!
