Is anyone else getting awful mpg out of their Nismo?

I'm pushing almost 24K miles on my Nismo and I've never dropped below 17 MPG around town, which includes a lot of rush hour driving to/from work. I would say I average around 18 - 18.5 MPG around town. Highway is around 22 MPG. Those numbers are at ~5500 feet above sea level and with my foot in it pretty hard most of the time, with Shell V Protect.
