Thanks for the comments.
Everything works flawlessly, and effortlessly.
Features bluetooth with NAV, Itunes tagging, USB and Ipod connections,
video in and out, optical, DVD, rear camera connection, XM, HD,
6 disc changer, way too much fun.
Podcasts on a flash drive will display artwork unlike the X100 I had.

I'm looking to buy the same unit, and I have a few questions.
What adapter are you using for your steering wheel controls? Also, are there only inputs for one backup camera, or would it be possible to set it up for two?
thanks

You can buy a PAC adapter for the steering wheel controls, but I opted not to get it. As far as back up camera, I believe you can hook up one. I know it has more connections than I can use. I did not do the back up camera either, so I'm not really sure.

You can use the Blackbird. It will work with either one.
Although when I researched the unit's compatibility, I found
that there are some issues when using the Blackbird. It seems the
unit performs better with the NVP-1, plus it will be updatable online
using a supplied USB cable. There is no update for it as of yet, but
it will be a "free" update as opposed to a annual pay DVD type.

Very nice.
I myself opted for a non-motorized double DIN. Why? I've had several friends who had motorized double DIN HUs across various brands and the motor drive for the sliding face eventually failed for all of them. Granted, it took a few years but then when failure took place, the HU was out of warranty and they were screwed.
