^Yup espeically when you first start it up. Once the engine is warmed up a little it doesn't seem as bad. Might just be a mental thing though, because I don't know if engine warming has anything to do with the clutch

ditto.. i did some research and everyone says its normal... you hear it when your in neutral with your foot off the clutch right?
My 08' Nismo does it, so did my 03' track addition. And would you believe the GTR does this too, Even states in the manual that it's normal to hear the mechanics of the transmission.
What up fellas, new to the site, just upgraded my 03 rsx for a beautiful 07 350z silver alloy 2 weeks ago and I'm lovin life! I also notice the noise, sounds like the flywheel's rattling in neutral, soon as you push the clutch in it's gone... the noise is really not that bad, at least not in my case, but I didn't think that was normal so I was contemplating taking it to the dealer. I searched and found mixed opinions, some people say it's normal and some say it's not, some have taken to dealerships still under warranty and the gotten brand new trannys from nissan....
