Hi guys..

I just got a recall on my 07...They want to check out the clutch master cylinder ,I know some guys have had probs with clutches I guess Nissan are actually doing something about it,I only have 1200 miles on it atm so I guess they wont find anything wrong (I hope).

what # nismo do you have?

 

they will replace the part. it needs to be done. i hope you have a good dealership with good mechanics.

was this recall only for lower numbered nismo's or nearly all 07's?

 

My #0007 was part of the recall. There is a sticky thread under the HR section I think.

Thanx for the link really helpfull. Something else i'v noticed when the motor is idleing theres a kind of whiring noise when i press the clutch pedel it goes away,Is that just a Nissmo thing? or should I mention it when i take it in for the master cylinder?

Its clutch clatter, your nismo probably has a lighter weight flywheel and it makes that noise when your clutch pedal is up and your in neutral. normal Z noise.
