Where can I find a hydroshield? Will that affect performance? Since it masks the filters? Or is it very "permeable" for the air? If you have a G with the HR engine u can get it!

Thanks for the info. Horizontal rain wouldn't be too hard to reproduce on the highway, but I doubt it would be enough to cause any problem. I wonder how hard to would be to make it into a ram air design.

From past readings on intakes, I don't think it'll be an issue with water unless submerged. I haven't heard of anyone hydrolocking just from rain.
If you're thinking about putting a bypass valve or a hydrosheild onto the intake, you should've bought the short ram intakes.
