Default dealership service

hi guys, just joined the forum and its been great, lots of information learned just by reading thanks..
anyways, on with the topic, i had a puncture on my left rear tire and decided to go to the stealership and tell them i need a patch since i have tires and rims insurance so after 30 min of waiting its finally done they hand me the ticket and paid 12 bucks, not bad. after a week, my tpms light is on, check all my tires and end up with a leaking pluged rear left tire that was suppose to be patched! and came to found out (insurance) that i was not to pay any thing on repairs or even replacement. so i went back in told them what happen ask them about the service done and have them replace my tire. fortunately they apologized and replaced my tire with a new one. guess that was ok then last week i went back in for a minor repair for a loose left side mirror, and after 2hrs of waiting i got my car back. today. i notice the back pannel of the of the side mirror is not sitting right and is cracked! Bottom line, i think the dealership's service dep are cutting corners on there service which sucks !

It's because your nismo edition is higher then #0004.

Was there a question in there, or did you just need to vent?

One of our local Nissan dealerships got in a Silver Nismo 370z and placed it around back. In less then a week the Nismo was on blocks and the rims were gone.. lol

The dealership had to wait 6-8 weeks or so before they got a new set. I have purchased 3 Nissans from them in one year and went back to test drive a new Maxima and Altima with my g/f. I was gonna take the 370 Niz out for a drive but it started to pour.

**** New thread of senseless rambles.....**** Everyone jump in! lol

just want to vent out what i feel about this dealership regarding their service department, it seems to me to be very unprofessional for them to cut corners on their service that's all.

ok sorry if it does not make any sense to you, like i said, Iam just venting out my bad experience from my dealer. I HAD THEM FIX A FLAT TIRE AND ASK THEM TO PATCH IT INSTEAD THEY USED A PLUG TO FIX IT AND END UP LEAKING AFTER A WEEK, I WENT BACK AND ASK THEM TO REPLACE IT . AGAIN I WENT BACK TO LET THEM FIX A LOOSE SIDE MIRROR AND IN THE PROCESS THEY CRACK THE BACK PANEL WHICH I THINK THEY ARE CUTTING CORNERS ON THEIR SERVICE.

WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY WAS THEIR SERVICE SUCKS! AND WANT TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Its a dealership.......their turn around on the "itty bitty knows nothing" mechanic that did your small job is high..........was probably a highschool drop out kid that worked on your car , not the master tech......

aside from that, this is all too common even with the experienced mechanics as they get paid per job and hustle to make ends meat...

I never "leave" my car at any dealership, alignmentshop, anything with out me being right there watching every move!!!

I learned that lesson a long time ago......

make an appointment and watch every bit of your car being worked on...make arrangement to be there...

Stay away from a dealership when it comes to wheels/tires.
There are hundreds of threads regarding some sort of damage sustained
at the hands of unprofessional techs. Taking your car to the dealership is
very, very dangerous.

lol speaking of useless ramblings, my Nissan dealer doesn't know a nismo model exists. Everytime I go in they ask me where I got the mods. When I asked about the nismo 370 they had no idea what I was talking about and continued to show me a regular 370 z

i hope they won't ruin your nismo or even void your warranty (due to mods done ) while in service.

^Lol, they thought about it...

About 3 days after I had my car, I noticed there was a small chip on the back bumper. I think the dealer may have backed into something before I took delivery. So I went to Nissan and before I even said anything, they would not cover any defects under warranty because it was an aftermarket bumper.

(I mean comon, their job revolves around selling and servicing 10 cars and the fact that they have no idea the model exists astounds me)
