Hey everyone I have been searching for a Nismo Z without the rear spoiler. I am thinking of getting a carbon fiber hatch and will probably leave the wing off the new hatch..Ive searched and searched and found nothing...Any help would be appreciated. I want to see what it looks like without the wing.

Imo check body kit sites. I think the N1? on ED is a Nismo replica. I'm not sure tbh, but this is just what I would try from here. Or you could get creative with MS Paint or something similar and change the BG of a pic from the side of a Nismo and cover up the spoiler. This would give you some idea. Just my 2 cents.

 

someone here took it off to repaint and took pics... forgot which thread that was. Look around the nismo threads i remember seeing it. Ill try to find it.

i remember it looked ugly, the rear bumper is too agressive. So i would say dont do it.

 

dont take the wing off if your going to leave the rear bumper on. The rear looks out of place/ugly without the wing. As mentioned above, there was a thread with a guy who took off his wing to paint his hatch or something, looked really ugly.

 

Ive seen one here. Ill try to find the thread.

I agree, a Z with the V3 rear bumper without the V3 spoiler looks ugly. The V3 spoiler and bumper go well together. One without the other looks weird.

I've seen that pic of the Nis without the wing also. You could always just photoshop it out.

And like everyone else mentioned, Nismo without spoiler = FAIL

I had mine off for repairs for a longish time, and couldn't wait to put it back on.

Ya when I searched this was all I found too....I was looking for more shots actually like side view. Hey thanks buddy for taking the effort and searching also inserting the picture. Much appreciated I was actually probably going to replace the rear bumper and go for another look. I also appreciate all the help guys and also opinions!!! I guess I will have to do this myself and see..

 

If you get a CF hatch how about finding a CF spoiler that is similar to the V3? The V2 looks pretty hot as well.

 

You want to get rid of two of the most functional parts on the car? You must not track your nismo.

 

ya i dont track it at all actually..im doing this just to go for a new different look...im still going to keep the hatch and the rear bumper...just want to see whats out there..
