nismo with new suspension installed
finally got the suspension installed no my nismo. full cusco suspension, coilovers, sway bars, rear control arms. not sure how low, but defenitly lower than stock. The alignment is still within factory specs even with the stock a arms.

the stock nismo suspension is not a bad setup, but it isnt adjustable. you cant make any changes, like the dampening of the coilovers or ride height. for a stock suspension the nismo is good, but if you drove one than you drove someone with an upgraded one you would see the difference is huge. it grips so much better now and it corners better also.
the nismo has the same sway bars as a stock z, the only difference is the springs and shocks, struts from stock. the reason the nismo performs better is really the welding of the frame.

The stock Nismo suspension handles great! But like the OP stated its not fully adjustable... The stock wheel gap for me is less then desirable. Also, the stock suspension is not the end all of suspensions. Sure its great but its not that great! There is room for much improvement.

as he even pointed out the nismo suspension sucks nuts in the adjust ability and tune ability portion.......to me regardless of how much better it is over a typical 350z.......if given to most of us that know the difference would change it out anyways!
to each his own i guess

^ To each his own....Ataru074 for someone who heavily tracks their car I agree there is always something better. Most do it & make the car unbearable on the street. The stock Nismo setup is a great balance for street and track driving.
