Sound clip/vid would be nice. I've heard clips before, but I think I just want to see one with a Nismo in it haha

Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

Haha, I'm the same way!! Oh, and more daytime photos if you have them. I am on the fence with loving the smaller tips.

Hey man I have the same setup on my car and it looks like your bumper is caught on the muffler and causing it to bulge a little bit, but it will tuck under perfectly and this setup looks almost the same as stock. The guy who was on here hating about this setup earlier is and idiot for more than one reason. They make plenty of exhaust for this car, one that comes to mind is the MCR crimson exhaust which in my opinion is the best looking exhaust made for this car and it's specifically for the nismo. In regards to the weldina, it's almost identical to the stock exhaust minus the sound and performance. As far as fit and finish, it's the most economical way to go for this car with quality.

It is, indeed, making contact. I was just going to trim it slightly. I'd love to see what it looks like tucked...feel free to share.

I agree on the Crimson...beautiful piece of work right there! But the price is unjustifiable, even for the stainless steel unit (~$3k)...especially considering I've never heard a soundclip of it, save for one on a 380RS (w/ headers).

The quality of the S-tune is truly fantastic...probably the best of all the exhausts under $3k. But it's becoming less of a "bargain". I got lucky and paid $1200 for mine...most places sell it for $1300 now. I think it used to only be $800-900.

Wow, good luck with that! That would be an epic purchase.

Please do send pics of the current setup (or post them here). I'd love to see it.

Thanks,
Matt

will do, Right now im just waiting to get the car back from the shop, I got ran off the road a while back and insurance just now is paying out to fix it. Im also putting on a set of bbs LM's im getting from flo-ridaz33. Cant wait to get it done. On a side note, i'll be selling that exhaust when I order the one from MCR. most likely will be the stainless, but I've been told I can get the titanium for $4k which is actually a steal cause they run about $6k..

I know this is probably a dead topic, but I'm actually looking to buy the factory nismo exhaust from the 2007-2008. I have an 2003 oem exhaust and am willing to trade. I'm assuming it will line up to the cats of the 03. I saw it on a 2006 automatic, and assumed it would fit a 03. Thanks if anyone knows a seller.

Do a search for Nismo Exhaust every now and again and you will probably come across a seller for the Nismo S-Tune. I just stumbled across one last week and bought it. Better to find one used than pay new. Good luck on your search.

Figured I'd add on to this thread for now since teh_ginger did his write up on the install. As mentioned above, I just got myself a used S-Tune exhaust and just installed it last night. It came in on the barge and, being my impatient self, couldn't wait to install it. So I stayed up late and now (morning), I'm pooped.

I won't make this long, but I too had fitment issues with installing the muffler portion. As seen in teh_ginger's pictures, it touches the rear diffuser and....it's a tight fit. I don't know how teh_ginger did it, but I took off the rubber hangers from the car, slipped them on to the hangers on the muffler, then installed it on the car. Somehow, it was way easier doing that.

At first start up, the exhaust wasn't that impressive. However, once it warmed up, it was a different animal, and I think other S-Tune owners can relate with that. Right now, I'm just loving the sound. Not too loud and no drone.

Anyways, just adding info for future searchers.
