I bought my car in feb of 09 and by jan 10 with about 11000-12000 miles, my rear tires had no thread left while the front's were not too shabby. The rear tire wear though was caused by a few auto-x events and questionable races, but they were damn good until they went out. Now i'm rolling on the re-11's which aren't too shabby either

+1, rear inside shoulder corded about the same mileage, fronts were decent. Recommend frequent alignments (2-5k miles) because the Z OEM supension doesn't hold an alignment worth a squat. Firestone or other lifetime/long term alignment plans are well worth it.

There are too many variables involved to make a comparison

I understand that there are plenty of variables. Any input is appreciated. Thank you for those who have.

I have 13,500 miles on mine and they still have some tread left. No autox events and driven hard too often, although, I do like to get a little sideways when the opportunity presents itself.

13,000 miles and my rears are shot. Major wear on the inside of the back tires, outside is worn but much less than inside. My fronts are ok. I have done no track time, but a few dougnuts and drifting on turns here and there. It seem a little excessive, maybe my alignment is way out. I just ordered some Bridgestone re-11's today from tirerack for the rear...

Does anyone know if there is anything special with the Nismo alignment in which I would probably want to take it to the dealer or a local specialty z shop (Crawford Z) to get it aligned? Or should I be fine just taking it to any (descent) tire/alignment shop?

I took the factory Bridgestone's off after 6k when I put the twin turbo's on and switched over to the RE-11's, i'm looking at trying to see if a 16 inch rim will fit so I can run Hoosier A6 tires at the track. I've also noticed inside tire wear on the rear end but i'll just deal with it when I switch out the suspension.

I got 30,000 miles on mine and they are still ok. The tread bars are just starting to come into play....

Maybe I should start driving my car harder!?

Got mine in october of 2008, they have a little over 11,000 miles on them and I see very little wear on them, I would say I got 90 % still left on my tires. I've only spun my tires once and don't really see a need for it.

I just replaced my rear tires this week, I'm closing in on 30K miles. I bought my car used w/ 4K miles on it and have had the stock RE05 until this week. They were going bald so it was definitely time to change them.

I'm right at 20k and the insides of the rears are pretty well slick. It wasn't bad until I made a pass at the Dragon's Tail. That sufficiently killed them off lol. Front tires are still ok.
