Default Nismo know it all's

Hello Nismo owners. I have a 06 GT ,MT. I am 2nd owner. I purchases in 08 with 7,400 mi. The car was special order, came from the Tochigi plant to Florida dealer then drivin to north texas. I don't know exactly what upgrades were ordered. My exhaust is a bit louder than stock, it has a push start button (not an 06 option)and has Yamaha performance dampers front and rear. All the maintain records are at a north Texas dealer, no installs. What exactly does the Nismo suspension consist of ? And no, I know my car is not a nismo. I'm just wondering what I have as upgrades and were they factory or the selling dealer install ? Thanks for anyone help.

All the Dampeners do is just help with body roll and the bush start thing is aftermarket. I have the dampeners on mine and it took 15mins to install them.

Ok, so the Dealer in FL has no service/install records according to Marrone Nissan by my VIN #. Only that it was deliverd to them as a special order. The North Texas dealer that has serviced it since just under 2,000 miles has done the regular oil changes, inspections has no service records of any OEM/special installs. I have heard that when you order the Track/Touring models, there are some options avail that may not be avail on the other models ? Did any of you order your cars and wait for them ? If so do you recall what options were avail to you ?

The push start button is not AFTERMARKET, it looks very similar to other nissan buttons. That was confirmed by Courtesy Nissan.

Are you the 2nd owner? I know for a fact these weren't options in 06 b/c the Nismo's didn't come out to 2007 and no other car had them. What's the key look like? Is it a Nissan Key? If so it's a S2000 add on.

Never heard of any of those mods being factory installed. Dealers do sell and install those parts however. Push button start was never an option on any 350Z model. Take a closer pic and I'm sure someone can tell you what make and model it comes from...as said before, most likely S2K.

The exhaust in your picture doesn't look like the ones off the Nismo. I can't imagine the push button as a special option during assembly. Most likely aftermarket. And the dampers weren't offered till the 07-08 Z came about. I'd assume your push button, dampers and exhaust were done after assembly, from the first owner.

Yes, Nissan key. Some one told me it looked almost exactly like the start button in his 06 altima

Ok so that's not a Nissan option for a 350z... period. Nismo exhausts are not made by Calsonic by the way.

Ok, thats why I posted with you all, Ill get a close up of the push start, and as far as the mufflerd, I dont know much about Nismo so I didnt know if that was a standard.... which serveral people I know have gone aftermarket and dont recall Calsonic being stamped on their muffler. The dampeners, I saw 2 this past weekend, both 03 Nismo's with those dampeners on them and they say that came stock.....1 of the two was the original owner and he is the one that actually pointed them out to me, and asked if I had modified which I havent. Anyway I appreciate all of your direction.

Um I think your confused... a Nismo 350z only came out from 07-08 and I believe they only made like 1600 or so. Nismo sell parts but their are parts that are unique to those special Nismo's and if you tried getting them... well they're very very expensive. I don't know why you insist on trying to explain something we already know, would you like me to tell you that your car is extra special?
