Default weight of v3 wing?

Hey guys, been looking around but i can't seem to find a weight of just the v3 spoiler alone. Reason being is i just bought a wing to replace the v3 but i'm wondering if the wing i bought (40lbs or less) is lighter or heavier than the spoiler thats on the nismo already. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I don't know what the weight is, but what did you replace it with?

I purchased a voltex wing, was wondering about the weight due to the fact if i needed to purchase some stronger hatch struts to support the new wing.

My bet is that the voltex wing will more than likely be heavier than the oem v3 wing. I had a veilside wing on my 03z and it was a lot heavier than the oem v3 on the 08nismo. But if i was in your situation I would go ahead and buy the hatch struts just because we all know that they go out.

Sweet! This wing:

I think it's great people aren't affraid to go against the norm Can't wait to see this with the NISMO kit. As much as I love our cars, the wing would be the one thing I would change. I actually prefer the V2 wing over ours.

LULZ. just ordered an APR gtc-300 for my nismo
my guess is that it's lighter than the stock one.

haha, i thought about the v2, but it seemed like taking a step back jus cuz our v3 wing looks like it flows better visually speaking.

I ordered the type 2, 1700mm, with 275mm stands. I wanted to the the gtc-300 but the mounts were what steered me away and to voltex. It just seems that voltex mounts would disperse the weight better than the apr ones.

Z1Auto sells it for like $2800! I'd sell mine if I could get half that!

1000.00 for a V3 is a good price... I picked up mine for 750.00 but the guy needed it gone ASAP.

Sorry to threadjack NismoFreak. Anyway, I didn't know the wing was that heavy, but I was thinking of converting my body kit into the Nismo Superlegerra by Amuse. Also, has anybody seen a Nismo with the Superlegerra wing? Thanks guys.
