Default Is this a good deal?

I am currently looking for a z. I wasn't really looking for a Nismo since they were out of my price range but what do you guys think.

http://sacramento.craigslist.org/ctd/2449771748.html

My other options are an 07/08 with less miles as this is going to be a DD for no less than 4 years

thanks.

The Nismo looks really nice, but 70,000 miles is a lot of miles. And you say your going to DD it. Depends on what your budget is, if i was buying a used 07/08 car i would want a lot less miles then 70k on it... Good luck in your search.

I am limiting my budget to 20,000. I was originally going to go for a 370 and blow all my money on it, but i realized i want some money to play around with and a HR Z would be more than satisfactory.

I recommend a 2006 with 35,000 miles over a 2008 with 70,000 miles.

i agree. you will be much happier if you go with something with a bit less miles. you will actually feel like you are getting a newer car and wont have to sit and worry about spending all your modding money on simple maintenance right out of the box. my nismo had 22k miles on it when i got it and i paid 25k. its well worth it. she purrs like a walrus.

Did you email him and ask for the VIN or did he post it? I didn't see the original ad, did he disclose the accident?

That's a dealership too, I thought by law they have to disclose any accidents?

man dealerships here in cali are just unbelievable, i was at a couple in San Jose over the weekend and i had about 3-4 different people try to sell me a base model Z's as enthusiasts, tourings, and even 1 guy told me it was a track because of the "upgraded rims".
