I am hoping I can get by there today. Just a little busy right now and I bowl thursday nights at 7pm. Hopefully I can get to him by about 5pm.

I know it will look good with the nismo bumper and I know it will function incredibly well. I just hope I can produce it at a price that fits everyone's budget. That's my real goal here. I am in the same position as all the other nismo owners with nearly no options for aero so this is a good opportunity to solve that issue.
Once this is done, we get to make a piece to flatten the bottom. That plus a splitter on the front, OMG, it will be soooo awesome!

I have a friend with a stock nismo we will be testing it on as well. Been a long time since I have driven a stock nismo!

Funny, I just looked over the pics and I dunno if it was an email or actual picture. I fully remember that it extend to the right more.
Either way

Something like this would he idle for the Nismo couple vents and a little more angle. I think it would be nice, nothing to extreme...subtle would do it and tie the look up nicely

That's why I am having it done. Plus, according to people behind me, the rear bumper is flexing (badly) now which means the center piece of the GTC-300 is probably causing a lot of the air underneith to be "pulled" out. This means that with this diffuser, I should see more than then normal difference in downforce gain.

I bet you will be driving and ask your friend, "Where's the boost at?" lol

He has been curious about what it would look like if he were to lay decals in to the glass so he tested it with this piece.
I went by there yesterday afternoon and we trim some glass off and stuff.
I do have 1 request for everyone. Could you all take a picture of the rear of your car? I have the Greddy TIC Race on my car and I can make sure it fits with the stock exhast but I don't know what other exhast systems everyone is running and what the fitment is like. If I have pictures of the rear of a good number of NISMO's, I will be able to make a good estimate on clearance.

Already done. See HERE
I was hoping I didn't have to bring the channel up with a fast rake at the rear but it looks like we may have no choice. Good thing thing that ARC one gave me the idea of how to keep the air to follow an immediate degree change! It also looks like the piece may have to be a little lower in the back and the channel a little shallower. Not worried about making the channel shallower has we aren't really flowing enough air through it to make a difference but how low it may need to be in the rear concerns me a little bit.
Waiting to hear back from my guy right now to let him know. Guess it's going to be a long weekend!

I've got a stock exhaust and it seems like a lot of the aftermarket ones are much smaller, though nobody here could expect you to make a diffuser that fit with EVERY exhaust system out there. Thats just not reasonable.
If you can somehow make this thing in FRP for less than $500 with a carbon option for an upcharge, I think you will get quite a few people interested around here... though it all depends on the design as well as function.

I expect it to be a little more than $500.00 for fiberglass and a little more for other material requests like carbon and kevlar. This is not going to be a small piece. I really won't know until it's done though.
