A little about me first I've been a desert truck racer and done some American muscle drag racing but I've moved from the deserts of west Texas to the cities in north central Texas. So I not gonna be racing my truck anymore and wanna try track now. So I'm looking to get a nismo 350z and I was wondering if there's any difference between say the first 100 and the last 100 models? Or what numbers should i be looking for? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

 

They're all good... The CSC is the only issue with them but that's not exclusive to only Nismos and a general problem with HR (07-08) equipped Z's. P

Yes they're the same... no differences in respect to the Nismo. Nismo vs non Nismo have significant chassis differences.

 

Thanks Flo hopefully I'll be buying my Z in the next week. Now just to find the lowest mileage one available lol. I think I have a buyer for my racing Tacoma now if I can sell my Overland 4runner too I'll be able to pay cash. Btw for those that hate kids having nismo's I'm almost 30 😁

To clarify, the CSC was recognized as an issue by Nissan for the 07 350Z's, not so much the 08's. Nissan had a TSB out for it. Although 08's have had some CSC failures. All in all, both years are solid years. If given the choice though between a 07 and 08, take the 08.

Slave cylinder is prone to fail.

 

Clutch Slave Cylinder

 

CSC is the Concentric Slave Cylinder. It's found only on the HR's and VHR's. 03 to 06 have the lever arm type.
