I discovered that mine were never removed, just found them a few months ago. They'd been on the car for eight years. lol Make sure you keep them! If you don't have your Certificate of Authenticity (COA) send me a PM and I'll get you the POC to have it issued/reissued. Finally, once you're in the Nismo Owners group on FB, one of the other members makes these super neat Nismo Production posters, and a plethora of other Nismo items.

You'll notice some chatter while idling in neutral with the clutch released. It's 100% normal. It will go away (quiet down) once the clutch is pressed in. The tach can be a bit bouncy, between shifts, you'll get used to it.

Wow... I bought my 07 #0363 last year and noticed all the items you just mentioned. The car is STIFF... much stiffer than my previous 03 track. I will run out on break and check for those spacers.

I just contact Nissan and opened up a support ticket to get the COA. Is there a faster way?

As for the chatter, spot on. I was thinking T.O.B?

Haha... the tach. Thought I was crazy. Thanks for the info! Glad I ran into this

@OP, welcome! I'm about to join the FB as well. Went from 03 track to the 07 Nismo. I picked it up from an older gentlemen at 42,500K miles for 17K. Had to buy it for that price

MicVelo: That was important information for me. I have a fluid timeline for when I buy one (350Z) and your information definitely has caused me to look at the Nismo first. If I hadn't been forced to retire, in two business days, this would be no problem but I have to see how finances work out with the state pension plan.

That was a steal of a price! haha
The car is still stiff without the spring spacers, but the ride isn't as harsh on bad roads. Between the suspensions, body dampeners, and welds.. I expected that car to be that way.

There isn't a faster way that I know of to get that certificate. They say it could be a few weeks, but I got a copy of mine in less than 7 days.

I was a bit shakey on the chatter and tach as well until I came on the forum and saw a few youtube videos. haha

Sounds good! I'm 100% positive you'll enjoy the Nismo group.

there was a member here last year selling a silver one in Indianapolis, ID. I flew from Boston to go pick it up... 250.00 one way. He said it was in pristine condition for $18,000 @ 38K miles. He claimed his G/F or fiance was pregnant. Took a day out of work, went there...was JUNK. Passenger side was completely keyed... dents everywhere, interior garbaged. Was absolutely upset. Had to pay another 250.00 for a return flight. I can go on and on about that, but a week later #0363 went up for sale in RI and grabbed it. Was originally for 19,5K, but 40K maintenance was needed and talked him down.

you are right. Got an email of a pdf copy within 3 days of sending my info in. Original is on it's way. Looks awesome too.
