Hey guys new to the 350z club here, few questions for mods below.

What mods do I need to hit 350 whp? I've been reading FI is the only option

Is nitrous a good route to go??

I havnt seen many superchargers compatible with the vq35hr engine

Hardly any twin turbo kits

And no single turbos...

goal is 350-400 whp daily driver.

You can get 300 with a few thousand in parts, 350 will be a bit more difficult to achieve, 400 will need something pumping air into those 2 throttle bodies at a very hefty price...

Congrats on the new car and welcome.

I think your best bet is to go with a FI kit. Being that you have the HR engine it will definitely be pricey. But with FI, you will always have that power rather than always having to use nitrous and refill the tank.

And with a forced induction kit you can safely be in the 400-450whp range

you have but you haven't... but you are on the right track. stay away from GTM though. i would worry about other things that fail... the csc, the rear diff bushing, the lower inner bushing... get the car right before you consider FI

Your words of advice will be helpful idk bout a full year without mods tho

What small mods can i do to make decent gains,or mods just good for the car.. its got 58k miles whens a tune up reccomended.

just to let you know, you will prob be sub 300 whp

here is what i would do, drive it for a bit and know her... what she will and wont do. then when you know what she will do, get a good diff and sway bars. and you will know her better. leave the intakes alone, get art pipes and tdx2, along with a tune.. you will love her more. being 19 (not being rude, just honest) you don't make good money, what i listed will cost you about 4k not installed. take your time and don't dugan the car.... aka wreck it on thanksgiving

You wish it was burger flipping annual salary.
Turbo kit 10-15k
Supporting mods 5-8k (exhaust, fuel, cooling, bushings, suspension, heat wrap...)
Wheels to put that power to the ground 1200-4000
Tuning work 1000 if you are lucky probably 4-5 times that amount.

That's just getting started. On a stock block, that's admittedly stout. You can hit 500-600 on a stock HR.
