Lots of excellent buying advise in the buying forum. Thought you would have this memorised after 14 months.

I would think you could get it for invoice if you go in with a check.

When I bought my 350 Nismo, they tried to rake me over the coals at my local dealer. Once I knew for sure I wanted a nismo, I just called around to every dealer around me and told them I could come up today and pay cash. I paid invoice for mine

It is amazing how quick their attitude changes when you dangle a check in front of them.

I am also a firm beliver in credit union loans. It makes the buying process so much easier when you can avoid all the B/S with the dealer and say, "I have a check for invoice + tax right here. Take it or leave it.

You have the money = you have the power. You can get it for invoice...

Plus, remember.... the Nismo is a very tough car for them to move. A reasonable person would not buy this car. It jiggles your organs on every bump, is terrible in the snow, and only has 2 seats with almost no trunk.

I saw a brand new 2009 Nismo 370Z advertised yesterday for $34,500.

Default Nismo 370 Z price

I got mine in November of 09 for invoice: $37,500 with only 14 miles on it, never test driven from TeamNissan in NH. I saw lower prices than that at the time but only for ones that had >75 miles on them in New Jersey and elsewhere.

MSRP at the time was just over 40k so even a brand new 09 at this point I would bet you could get it for 37k or less.

Invoice or as close to invoice as you can get. Also, I +1 the recommendation for a loan from a credit union. My APR for my loan on my 350z was 4.25% in 2005.
