Default Should I upgrade?

I currently own a 2007 350z nismo. The dealer near me has a brand new just in 370z nismo. If I bought the 370z nismo my monthly payment would only go up slightly, and insurance would most likely come down because its a new car. I want some opinions on whether its worth it or not? I payed 25,000 for the 350z nismo a couple months ago with 36k miles. Should I upgrade to a brand new 370z nismo? Do you guys like the 370z nismo? its more money but I would feel more secure in a new car and whatnot. Any advice?

mike, if youre only into your 350 for a few months, yes, get the newer platform for SURE, especially w the mods you wanted.. its a faster car, far better starting point.
the few grand lost that you may waste going to a new car.. will be more than made up for in the better interior features, technology features like the rev match clutch and push start etc.. do it bro.

ALL day long.

This is so stressful... I want it... but I'm concerned with money. Money sucks. I won't be losing any money but ill be spending about 13k more. Although that is worth the upped power and upgrades. Hmm

Personally I wouldn't, but that's just me.

"Feel more secure in a new car?" What's wrong with your 4 year old car that makes you feel insecure? I guarantee mine makes more noise, haha.

keep your car. You've only had it not too long. Playing the "I want whatever is the latest and most powerful" game means you're going to lose money quick and often, and most importantly, you'll never be happy because something better is always coming out. The 07-08 is still a badass car!

this is true, but he hasnt modded it at all, and weve talked quite a bit, hes bitten badly fby the bug for modding his current car big time, so for this guy, id highly reccomend "modding" by buying the newer car.

It will add more to your balance, little to your monthly outgo, prob not that much for the total prioce of the car inc financing as your rate will surely be lower....and the car can be sold used far longer than a car you own now that is just about to be FIVE years old. If i could buy 5 years on my current car for 13k, id do it in a heartbeat.

To get 330 bhp out of your current car, youre gna spend 10k anyways man, let me tell you as im doing it now.

Im sure youre out of warranty for powertrain now on your Nismo at 5 years.. dunno.

just buy it.. dont make me jedi mind trick you.

Plus its a Nismo 370.. has the nice wing.... just a good looking car.. what color is it btw Mike?

Well, I went up to the dealer. It isn't gonna happen. They were trying to screw me on the trade in. They would only take my Nismo for 19,000. I said screw that you crooks... I guess ill save my money and wait for next years model. Or just wait until I can get a gt-r. haha. Oh well.

Or if you're determined, why not sell it privately? Or maybe it wasn't meant to be.

If the 370Z is the car you want in the long run, go for it.

Well if you plan on modding the warranty is gone anyways ... The only reason for the 370 in my opinion modding wise they have more support than the vq35hr
