Default ZEX tps help

Hey i've had the zex kit on for about 2 months now and i love it the only problem i'm having (somebody help me with this) is it doesn't engage sometimes until around 3rd at 4,500 rpm or higher. Its like everyonce in a while it will not activate in a lower gear or RPM.

This ussually only happens when i want it to so it sux. I used an MSD digital window switch and it is set for 1500 - 6400. I wired the TPS wire directly to the Throtle body wire (white) and it works sometimes and others not.

What is going on? it seems like my signal isn't strong enough and i know my foot is to the floor... what the hell.

Somebody chime in here if you see a problem

this sounds like there's something wrong with your window switch not the TPS.
Check the tach wire connection and make sure the msd isn't broken
You can test with a volt meter
I alsways put a light in between that comes on whenever you spray I'd recommend that.

well the MSD works great because i have a light to see when the Nitrous system is armed. it always arms whithin the set ranges and goes of at the set RPM. Its the ZEX box that isn't getting enough signal to spray afters its armed.

thanks for the heads up though , any more ideas?

Only other thing I can think of check your groundings, maybe a grounding wire got somewhat loose, that's usually the first thing to look out for.
Other than that maybe your zex box is giving up on you...time to upgrade to NX

i know a few people who had problems with zex. that controll box complicates things too much. you might need to reprogram it. its usually because it has gone bad. or switch nx.
