Default What are your reasons for N20 ???

My wife is going to pay for my goodies and I wanted to know what you guys use it for. For me it is going to be the awesome acceleration and speed. I have never messed with anything like this. Never been in a car with it either. So I am in the dark completely about this subject, but cant wait to get it. Plus I get a couple switches to mess with as well, lol.

What Kit should I get? What is the best, most reliable, and powerful on the market that I can use for my everyday Z and the strip on weekends?
Money isnt an object she said, ! So what do I buy? I want the most HP and torque I can get on a "stock 04 Z". Plus I want it all controlled so I cant blow anything up .I want my head stuffed in ma damn seat when I nail it!!!

If you're going to use it on a daily basis, I would say nitrous is a no-no. In moderation it's very good but overuse, even well controlled, can damage the engine.

For the set-up cost of a good nitrous system you could get I/H/E/Plenum/ECU reflash and probably get more fun out of that on a daily basis.

If you're just going to use it sparingly, then perhaps nitrous is right for you.

Nitrous is only good for a short period of time (20 seconds max) and you should only use it at the track.
Do lots of reading on it first to know how to use it the right way.
It's a cheap alternative to Turbos or superchargers and one thing I always loved is that you only use it when you want to not like other FI applications that are always on.

1000% use the Nitrous Express kit (http://www.nitrousexpress.com)

Get the following:

NX EFI Stage 1 Import Kit (base kit)
NX Genx II (bottle heater, gauge, purge, blow down valve and tube, fuel Safety shut off...)
NX Maximizer (programable progressive controller, TPS, Window Switch, A/F safety Shut OFF)

1 to 2 step Colder Copper or Irridium Plugs

Optionals: Remote Bottle opener, Remote pressure gauge

Have fun and be safe

Even though I am not running nitrous to answer your question in the title (even though its not really in your post) I would go nitrous b/c it I believe if done right it gives you the most dependable performance increase for the money. A turbo or super is going to always be on putting increased strain on your engine all the time (not just when racing) and many people think that none of these kits are safe on the stock internals (so far so good with the APS... I am rooting for it). I would much rather have a turbos but you quickly find the limits of the statement "money is no object" when you start looking into built engines and turbo kits prices. From what I have seen at the track I have not been that impressived with the way the TT or SC's running stock boost fare vs the guys running 100 shot's. (I know on a highway pull the TT or SC would fare differently... I am not trying to start a flame war). If I won the lottery tomorrow I would get my engine built and go TT but for high performance at a great price I would go with nitrous.
