Default I have the kinetix SSV manifold - direct port nitrous questions

since I have the ability to do direct port nitrous, I'm wanting to start out with a 50 shot. I've been looking at NX kits, but it seems like all the direct port systems start at 150shot. What if I just want a 50 shot that's direct port?

I guess I need to assume that a 50 shot of direct port nitrous won't have enough pressure?

Default Jettings

I've been told that the problem with direct port nitrous injection is trying to run extremely small jets. On our VQ's, unless U had a built motor & a better fuel system, generally the smallest nitrous setups start @ 35 hp so running 35 hp x 6 cylinders = 210 total hp & I kinda doubt that the stock bottom end could handle that power. The most nitrous I've seen our members run has been 150 hp so that'd take 25 hp/cylinder & I know guys who have had those size jets stop up or have bad atomization ( in the wet kits ). I've got the SSV myself & thought about doing the same thing U're talking of but I think I'll stick with my single ZEX nozzle in the intake.

a pllate system would be perfect, but noone makes one.

A plate that fuits between the upper and lower manifold would be ideal and low profile.

It would have to be custom made. Talk to Wilson Manifolds. They are located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. They do the best intake mainfild work in the US. Most pro stock draggers and Nascar teams run their manifolds. They also manufacture there own line of nitrous equipment.

Not exactly, i used NOS direct port nitrous system on my old celica, and they told me not to run anything smaller than a size 14 jet if i remember, which is about 12 crank hp, because if you start going smaller than that even the most minute piece of anything will clog it.
