that's very odd, the window switch does nothing else but open a circuit and close a cicuit on a specified range on the nitrous circuits, does not do anything on the car.
You should investiage that some more. I believe people using the MSD had to do some form of modification.

shouldn't the window switch just cut the power from the arming switch when it's not in the window?

exactly, that's why it makes no sense that the switch could push the car into limp mode

thats what i thought. i guess i'll be wiring that up for him...

zex told him that if the nitrous pressure in the line was too high the solenoid wouldn't open as a safety precaution. why would the pressure be too high if this was the case?

if the bottle is subjected to sunlight, lots of heat you can fairly easily go above 1050 psi, that's why you need a pressure gauge to check.
If you're in an extra hot area I'd recommend to invest in a "fire and ice" device by NX.
It functions as a bottle heater to get pressure up and as a cooler to get pressure down if too high.

I put down 337 hp and 387 tq with a 75 shot. Prior to the nitrous I was @ just over 260 on the motor alone.
