TruBlueZ, thank you for clearing that up. I think everyone took me the wrong way when i said you shouldnt shift in 1st because of the possibilities of things happening. But truth of the matter is exactly what we have been saying. Faster than u if you are not spinning in 1st when you spray with 100 shot there is something wrong. from a dig or a roll. You should be breaking the tires loose. Seriously i would have it check out.

ok, it does spin like i said it doesnt break loose,it is controlable , i mean when i shift i gets sideways, but there i nothing wrong with it, it spins but when i shift into 2nd its flyin. i think i made u guys misunderstand me. i have g-force tires and i think that helps alot. but im not going to post much anymore because i feel like im getting anoying. so thanks for all the help ,you were a big help with me understanding this car and nitrous

i would like to see those time slips though, i have a 100 shot on a g35 sedan, i could not hook up with 265 18 DR in first gear at all... i would just spin the hell outta them all the way to the rev limiter, so i let off the nitrous, then it would bog down, shift to second and then hit it all the way out, i was only running 110 mph, but my nitrous in first gear was pointless, i have ordered some 15X8.5X26 MT so i wont have traction problems any more...

What set up are u using can I ask . Is it a Nx as I use wizards of nitrous
You can use nitrous in first gear, the only reasons why it's not recomended is because (in drag racing) you can lose traction easily, and you will run up your RPMs quickly, which means that you will have to shift super fast or deatcivate the nitrous prior to shifting. Also, it's fairly easy to speed shift into second and miss the gear, which means the Revs will shoot up. So it's not really that nitrous will damage the motor in 1st gear, its just that the chances of driver error is increased while doing so, which in turn can be damaging...
I used to use Nitrous on my old honda accord, and it ran like a champ, and i used to hit the nitrous full throttle from the start. the motor took it in stride, never had an issue, and it was a 100 shot dry setup. If you know what to do and how to set up the car, you'll be fine....

Can u please let me no what set up u got . I am running a 150jet nitrous am thinking of getting a minimax controller as I do get spin in 1st . But not 2gear.
So I would get off the lights faster . Spinning is not win lol.
I no they do help . 30% and 3sec ramp . With no reset . Shod stop it spinning. But love to no what kit you r ru
What kit you lot running when you r say 150 /50 / 100 jets . As different set up give different power
