Default How good do the 350z hold up to gas???

ive messed around with nitrous on dsm's, mustangs, srt4's, but the srt4 is the only one which has the returnless fuel system.

Do we have forged internals, how do they hold up to say a 75-100 shot, has anyone had headgasket problems??

ive thought about going with a wet kit and a emanage ultimate for timing reduction and adding fuel.

and how much whp has someone made on a normal shot 75-100, and has anyone seen any timeslips??

Z's hold up great to N20. Many people run 100+ shots on stock block. Only forged internal we have is the crank, the rods and pistons arent forged but they are pretty strong. Honestly a 75 shot on a 3.5L motor is weak. I would run between 100-150 shot and call it a day. A few years ago a dealership was racing a Z with N20 and pushing the limits of the stock block. They ended up blowing it with a 300shot iirc, it handled everything under that. The UTEC would prolly be a better piggyback or you, as you can have an NA map and switch to a N20 map with a switch(you can support up to 5 maps). You cant do that with the emanage as quickly. No need to worry about the headgasket at the power level you'll be running. They start to go at around 600-620whp according to the FI gurus...

No problem. BTW run a wet kit of course.

Edit-also to make tapping the fuel line easy, look up the SPT fuel tap. I bought one for like $50 to tap my line for a fuel pressure guage but it will work perfect for the fuel line....

For daily driving purposes, I run a progressive 75 shot and have sprayed up to a 125 shot with no problems.

The Vq35 loves nitrous. I can't even begin to tell you how many hundreds of pounds of nitrous have already passed through mine . Start off with a 75 shot, because you may find it to be enough for daily purposes. 100 - 150 will bring on huge power, but even more impressive, TONS of torque. With a 75 shot I hit 337 HP and around 390 TQ. The torque is strong from onset to just short of 6000 RPMs. A 150 shot would definitely put you over 400 + HP and in the area of 500 + for TQ.

1 more thing, what fuel mods have you guys done, injectors?? fuel pump??? and what did you use for management, because i see that cprace offers a kit w/emanage ultimate and a kit w/safc, whats your suggestions, and if any of this needed for a 100 shot, because thats all im gonna do.
